Manitoba Teachers for Students with Learning Disabilities Conference

This virtual session introduced how to use multisensory materials to teach basic grammar concepts and sentence structure to students. This is particularly helpful for students who struggle to remember terminology or don’t have an intuitive sense of what makes a complete sentence. The focus was on foundational grammar concepts with students who have a very basic knowledge of phoneme-grapheme correspondences, but the ideas can be expanded and applied to students at any level.
