Morphology Study – Putting into Practice –   January 15, 2024

How can exploring a word like perpendicular in the math class help a student understand pendulums in science? or funipendulous!?

Teachers at the Mabin School have been involved in ongoing Professional Development with Liisa Freure since August 2022.
This in-person session modeled putting into practice some of the concepts focused on morphology which have been introduced in the training sessions.
We played a game to review some of our learning and also discussed current research around learning and risk taking in the classroom.
